Sunlight: Prefers full sun for abundant flowering and fruiting. Tolerates partial shade.

Watering: Water regularly, keeping the soil slightly moist, avoiding waterlogging. Tolerates short drought periods but prolonged dry spells should be avoided.

Humidity: Adapts to average humidity levels, benefiting from occasional misting in dry environments.

Pruning: Can be pruned in late winter or after fruiting to maintain shape and stimulate branching.

Fertilization: Feed in spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser. Reduce or stop feeding in late summer.

Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years, preferably in spring, using a well-draining substrate.

Flowering and Fruiting: Produces small white flowers in spring, followed by red fruits in autumn. Its main ornamental value in bonsai lies in the flowers, fruits, branching, and trunk texture.
