


The Pinus sylvestris workshop is a 3-hour hands-on session focused on the study and initial work on this species, renowned for its texture, mountainous character, and excellent responsiveness to shaping. Each participant will receive a Pinus sylvestris specimen to apply the techniques demonstrated during the session. The workshop is led by Márcio Meruje, with an emphasis on technical development and structured tree reading.
Key aspects of working with pines will be covered, including candle and needle cleaning, vigor distribution, definition of green masses, wiring and branch positioning, apex construction, and the first steps toward establishing the primary structure. Class size is limited to 6 students per session.
