Premium Japanese bonsai substrate from the Triple Line range, High Class grade. As a Hard Akadama, it is fired at higher temperatures, giving it greater hardness and resistance to breakdown, so it keeps its structure for 2 to 3 years.
Large grade (10~18mm), ideal for big pots and larger trees
Superior drainage and aeration, with good moisture retention inside the grain
Encourages the development of a strong, healthy root system
Ideal for: large bonsai, trees in deep pots, drainage layers at the bottom of pots of any size, and plants with sturdier roots. Can be used on its own or mixed with pumice or lava of a similar grain size.
