Originating from Asia, Acer palmatum ‘Kotohime’ is a species highly valued in bonsai for its extremely compact growth, very short internodes, and dense foliage, allowing the creation of small-scale trees with great detail. Its palmate leaves enhance the delicacy and refined character of the silhouette.
