Sunlight: Prefers full sun to ensure abundant flowering and vigorous growth. It can tolerate partial shade but flowers best in direct sunlight.

Watering: Requires regular watering, keeping the soil slightly moist. It does not tolerate prolonged drought or waterlogging.

Humidity: Adapts to different humidity levels but thrives in moderate, well-ventilated environments.

Pruning: Structural pruning should be carried out in winter during dormancy. Pinching can be performed in spring and summer to control growth. Pruning should be done after flowering to avoid reducing the following year’s bloom.

Fertilization: Fertilise regularly in spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser. Reduce feeding in late summer and stop in autumn.

Repotting: Repot every 2 to 3 years in early spring before bud break. Use a well-draining substrate.

Flowering and fruiting: Produces abundant flowers in early spring before leaf emergence. It may also produce small plum-like fruits ranging from yellow to red, adding further ornamental interest.
